Stadium Noise

I think he meant Louisville

I was going to say, how did I miss that game???

TT struggled a lot with the crowd noise at Utah. They had 7 false starts. As per Duarte they practiced using a silent count during the bye week. Regardless, I think if TDECU is rocking we will definitely see more false starts from the Raiders.

Louisville game was the loudest I’ve experienced at TDECU and I’ve attended about 85% of the games there.

It also helped keep us close vs the Longhorns…that was a great atmosphere

It’s a culture thing. Rockets have the same issue. Lol top 5 worst home court advantage in all of basketball. The FC is louder.

When Memphis missed that field goal might be the loudest moment at TDECU. But I hope our crowd is like the Louisville crowd. It was intense and it never really let up even when the game was out of reach.

I remember having inflated noise makers for Louisville, which made a huge impact on the game. We need blue sticks !!

Texas game got hype after we came back… they jumped out to a 21-0 lead iirc…

That’s why we need a simple chant… “U of H, U of H,…!”

That would be simple, effective and loud… I love a good Whose House chant but a U of H chant would go all the way around the stadium I think…

If they play as sloppy against us as they did Utah we definitely can win this game.

If CW is off like he was early at OSU it could get ugly…

2015 Memphis and 2016 Louisville are two of the most organically loud college football games I’ve ever been to, and I grew up going to DKR, Kyle Field, Arkansas, etc. We haven’t had anything close to that since.

Side note if we had that case Cusa team , we might have a better chance bc that offense was great

I have to trust Connor wig

That Cusa team we had could keep up that beat tech in Robertson

Memphis in 15 was the loudest for me.

But Colorado recently was pretty loud too with over 37k people. If the game is packed, it will get loud.

Was it? I didn’t get that from my seats, for sure.

It was loud in section 117…

Haven’t heard of any sell out news?

In the 70s and 80s, we did the Houston clap clap Houston clap clap Houston chant that was really simple AND really loud. I think we took that chant from the movie Rollerball with James Caan.

We need something to combat the Raider Power chant.

They got it going at Fertitta this spring, and they didn’t really have all that many fans there.

Without thinking too hard about it, why don’t we just chant HOUSTON COUGARS over the Raider Power chant? We could easily drown them out, and get under their skin as an added bonus.

One more thing… we need EVERYONE singing on Womp Womp. That’s a powerful one when we all do it.
