There have been scholarships available for at least the last 40 years. All returning band members currently get a financial award every year (it’s not much, but it’s not nothing), and there are additional scholarships through the Alumni Association and through CenterPoint Energy.
It was at the Rob, could have been the magic of the palm trees, but one of the loudest games I can recall being at.

U can thank Scumlin for that one. He made damm sure the better team lost, but the flight time to New York for the Aggie interview was running close.

That is incorrect.
Not only does Spirit of Houston offer scholarships and grants, they pay each member.
