Could this hint that the SEC will have their baseball tournament in Arlington? If so, they should have moved it to Houston. No potential weather delays. Or, just go back to OKC.
SEC has committed to hosting the tournament in Hoover,AL thru at least 2028. Of course that could change. I was on the same page as you.
Globe Life is indoor and nicer than Minute Mais.
Well it’s a quarter century newer, I’d hope it is nicer. The exterior of that new billion dollar stadium is laughably terrible though.
What do you mean that it’s indoor? “Daikin Park” has a retractable roof. It’s “nicer” because it’s newer but Daikin Park has had plenty of updates to it and it’s still a fantastic facility. Plus, A lot of the design at Arlington copied Daikin, Actually there are other things that the Rangers copied, even down to the “dugout dancer girls”. But anyways, the Big 12 announced that they will move the Big 12 tournament to spring training facilities in Arizona, next year. That’s why I mentioned that.
Incidentally, a lot of Big 12 fans on the social media posts are commenting with guesses of where the tournament will be played, not realizing Surprise is a place, not a teaser. Lol.

Once we turn this around and are worth watching I can make this an annual golf/baseball trip. Plenty of good courses in Arizona.

I completely agree. Globe Life Field sucks as a venue for the Big 12 tournament. They should take it back to OKC. It was a great site for the teams.

Been to few games there but felt like a cheaper, smaller Daikin Park copy to me. Still, enjoyed the layout and vibe of GL…pretty cool area to me
