Stud led the NFL in 1966 in total yards received.
At the highest end no.
But top to bottom depth could have been an issue.

It’s not even the “bottom end” - we have had some standout players that were backed up and surrounded by guys that were several notches below them. When you compare those non-drafted players with what we’ll see on B12 rosters, there was pretty obvious drop-off.
We’ve been able to get high-level players here - we just haven’t been able to get enough of them.
That said, I think depth will become an issue for more teams with the open-season on transferring. I still see us benefitting in this area, at least in the short term. Players definitely notice which programs are putting guys in the league, even if it hasn’t been enough to overcome playing an AAC schedule.

Still can’t believe the Texans took Tank Dell.
I’ll be waiting for all those grumpy old man on here who post several times a year… “ohh i don’t watch that NFL stuff. Soon as they leave College their Dead to me”. Well College players are soon going to be just like NFL players… now What. You must adapt in life or you’ll be very lonely
