I remember it as “Beat the Cougroes.” To his credit, Guy Lewis refused to return to the court when he got wind of this sign.
If the football team only won one game all season, I’d want it to be against SMU. I despise that school more than UT and Notre Dame combined.

We’re not going to play Texas every week. The Big 12 setup is to play one FCS, one G5, and one P5 for non-conference. Rice essentially gives us an additional home game. Would you rather travel to Georgia Southern or Appalachian State?

Because New Mexico is garbage at football
I want to keep playing rice, but not every year. We get only three OOC games a year and most years only one of those give will be G5 and I don’t want to use it on Rice every year.
Folks mention USM above… they’re actually a school I’d like to play again.
I also want to know who is up for a 2-and-1.
Its a good time to be on the inside looking out. Being g5 I never thought it was so insular and spoiled on the inside.
