If we can’t win 10+ games, then I will take the roller coaster ride of Kendal Briles or Kingsbury high octane offense.
I hated that we lost to SMU 77 to 63. But it was definitely a wild ride. I don’t remember another game where every 40 seconds (if that long) I was going either “WTF Where’s our secondary?” or “OMG I’m in heaven!!”.
I left the architecture school when I realized I was being uppity.

If you want more red in the stadium, fill it with fans dressed in red. I don’t think plain concrete looks bad at all and nobody really gives a rat about it when they go to games.

How much would it cost to have 1 escalator to that top deck ? I’m in great shape but when I had tickets there , it was a lot of steps if you went back to get a beer so I think longterm, we need something easier, Or an elevator. Next time your there go to that upper deck then see. That upper deck seems never full so the reason is prob ease of use so.
Elevators or 1 escalator would solve it then we can sell it out more.

There are at least three elevators in the stadium, I think. I know they’re near Gates 1 and 2, and I think the other one is for suites and press access, but I’m not sure about that one. Capacity is obviously limited, but they’re available.
An escalator would be nice, but like most escalators, it would probably be down 1/4 of the time it’s needed.

Elevators are more reliable.
The elevator on the visitor side is sketchy. I complained to the athletic department when my handicapped Mom and Sister got stuck on the elevator, then it suddenly dropped a bit, jarring them. Guess what, nobody cared. Never got any response from UH on my emails. If you are counting on the elevators, good luck.

Yeah that’s what it is. I guess the photo above I saw was exaggerated bc of lack of fans and the grey bleachers. We just need a little trim and lot of fans (in the seats) wearing red
