I think they are posturing to try to get the insurance company to pay to replace the turf after the season when all they want to do is patch it.

Sounds like it will be ready for the season, but I think they want it fully replaced and the insurance has only agreed to patch it.
I also look at everything through the lens of how is the insurance company trying to screw me now.

That analogy feels worrisome for athletes to play on, but maybe it wasn’t meant that way.
Not my area of expertise and I’m sure our admin is considering it all well.

Eddie needs to put liability for future injuries on the insurance company that only wants to patch the field and on the contractor who wins the patch job bid…

Nah… I have insurance through my mortgage company and it’s with home-owners insurance and car insurance it’s called auto-owners insurance…

There is UH System Office of General Counsel which represents all UH campuses in legal matters.
Ive seen them do freeway bridges, which carry more lives daily, fast. This is a quick fix but of course money is involved
How does that put the liability on UH?
