But the oldies are playing into their hands by wearing red. Wear blue!
Wife didnāt want to fly with our cat⦠I flew down for CUā¦
Currently, waiting on wife to throw up⦠both her and the cat get car sick every damn time⦠lol
I can just about hear Marty Robbins singing this song now:
āOut in the west Texas town of El Campo,
l fell in love with a tortilla throwinā girlā¦ā
ā¦can someone please find me a new GPS linkā¦signed TT Athletic Director
Also, beyond it being a trap game, winning on the road in college football is just hard. Homefield advantage has a stronger effect in this sport than perhaps any other.
Hocutt is just trying to fire up the TT fan base and get last minute fans on the fence about attending the game, to pull the trigger on their guns up, and buy tickets and attend.
Keep in mind, Texas Tech was one of the few B12 teams to schedule UH when UH was in CUSA and AAC. Texas Tech also voted UH into the B12.
They are emerging as THE rivalry for UH, but Hocuttās statement does not bother me. I hope UH fans react with the same energy as Texas Tech fans.
Just beat them, it shuts all their holes and makes them look as dumb as they are. I hope their team is as over confident as their fans.
Of course they have a lot of alumni here. Who would want to stay in Lubbock ![]()
Letās just steal their chant. Anytime they start raider power, we should chant Houston Power and drown them out.
Guns Down!
Give them credit they do support their team. We havenāt. Hope we arenāt outnumbered. That would be a shame to our players and school.
We are not going to be out numbered. The Longhorns didnt out number us a couple years ago at TDECU. We even out numered OU fans noticeably at NRG. The UH fans showed up and outnumber Aggies at Toyota Center last couple years in basketball. UH fans might be fickle but they show up for the big games.
Exactly right. The grumpy coogs show up in big games.
Board the damn cat and wife also if u have to lmao
Tech is being over confident. It is hard to win on the road and we saw that last week against OSU which is not very good. UH is good and Tech has to play us at home. I see UH losing against ASU later in the year due to us playing one of the top teams in Arizona.
We boarded our dog that passed once and when we picked him up he was so horse from howling that my wife swore sheād never board our pets againā¦
She is struggling this drive, thoughā¦
Alright⦠pit stop over⦠on the road again!
Every time the PA says Cougar first down! All UH fans should yell Guns down!
God speed!
Good we can win our third road game in a row!

If CWF and team can pull of the win, we can troll them with a āhomeā sell out loss for eternity
Thereās been a lot of talk about expectation lately of what we should be able to do win. People are expecting quite a bit. I see us winning out there tomorrow. I have no trouble seeing that. That is not what Iām expecting. I expect our guys to go out there and not take this team lightly because I promise you, theyāre going to come at us with everything theyāve got. I expect our guys to play football. Weāve earned the right to win.
