They’ve been our bama. We just haven’t been able to beat them.

My tech buddies have been texting very humbly over the last few hours. Before so confident, and now unsure after the Oregon state game.

I personally don’t think they have good coaching. It’s just my humble opinion.

Let’s just hope that their coaching is NOT up to the challenge this coming Saturday!!!

In my humble opinion Tech was focusing more on UH than the west coast OSU. They will be ready for us.

We’ve done enough self sabotage against them over the last decade and a half. Time to get our heads and attitudes straight and take one.

I think it’s a lot tougher to have top-tier defense when you don’t have six NFL draft picks on it.

Tech got caught up in not trying to show their hand vs a common opponent and had a fight on their hands. It will be a close game.

Were they focusing on us during the ACU game, too?

They really haven’t looked anywhere close to as good as their offseason-long gum-flapping tour would suggest.

I really don’t know what they were doing during the ACU game.

I think our embarrassment of riches on offense will give us the winning formula this week. We have the weapons this year to go into Lubbock and win win win

I’m willing to bet that other quarterback would have been able to cover the spread if he was eligible.

Their defensive front is just nowhere near as good this year as they were last year. There secondary can get exposed some when the opposing QB has time to drop back. I don’t think they’re any worse on offense then they were last year but that wasn’t really what made them scary. We should be able to match up with them in the trenches this year. I’m expecting a very competitive game Friday.

Tech was going hard for Sorsby and not rushing Will Hammond back for a reason.

Tech lost a lot of really great players. The guys they got to replace them are good, but not nearly as good as the ones who left. We need to go up there and just beat them and get things going for this season…CWF will get it done.

Red Raiders sure do have some dip s hit fans.

At least most Coog Fans go to games by choice, not because they live in a “literal” cotton picking dust bowl with NOTHING else to do.

And for the record…

About 17.1% of residents in the Lubbock area live below the federal poverty line, while broader financial hardship metrics indicate that NEARLY HALF of local households struggle to afford basic needs.

Approximately 15.27% of Houston residents use SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) food benefits, according to a University of Houston Hobby School of Public Affairs report
