This feels to me like if we just play clean football and stay out of our heads we can win this. Stay patient, don’t try to be a hero, etc. I haven’t been impressed at all by Hammond or Castellanos and I would be somewhat surprised if their offense is good enough to win without some significant help from their defense. They’re not the team they were last year on the other side of the ball, either.
That is silent hill
Yeah, I thought about that too.
I still think #1 will be giving CW time to make decisions in the passing game and getting a push in the run game.
If UH does that, I don’t think TT can go stride for stride with the Coogs, because our run defense is flat out good, and I believe our secondary is gonna be all over TT.
So, I guess my prognosis is based upon our defense being a LOT better than ACU or Oregon State.
We’ll know in 4 days.
Can’t wait.
Perhaps the title should he:
Texas Tech Weak
This writer agrees with me…
That’s an AI writer.
Fair enough.
But my perspective preceded it and while I still agree with you, I think our o-line vs the tech d-line must be a win to allow everything else to fall into place.
The Coogs need to have sustained drives to wear down their front 7 and limit Tech possessions.
I will be paying close attention to how our secondary does against their passing game. I agree with you that a couple of picks by UH could turn this into a REALLY fun game, and result in some major payback for last year.
