Let Dion pay the buyout.
I’m not the one that 1) gave him a stupid extension…that was Pez and 2) let me ego get in the way of who I can/can’t hire as a coach…that was Tilman
I still like the idea of promoting up and coming OCs with proven track records like, Briles, Sumlin and Herman. If we need to replace them every two or three years I am fine with that. Continuity and inside hires seem to kill our momentum.
Yes, a plan needs to be in place to start searching for the next one as soon as we win our 12th game of the year but that just makes the job even more desirable.
Win bowl games and put local guys in the NFL.
I heard a rumor that the members of “I hate Dana” organization have started a “Go fund me” account to raise the several million dollars needed to pay of Dana’s buyout. Then they opened a second “Go fund me” account to pay all of the money that will be lost because Tillman is pissed about the buy out of his running buddy and withdraws all future financial support of UH . . . . .
Yes and just as soon as they reach their ~$30 million/year target in annual contributions, then I’m sure they will be going public with their plans… Can’t wait to hear all about it…
link?
If I am Coach Prime, I am looking for:
$$$$$ salary
Do I have enough talent to win now?
Will my brand grow even greater?
Will my success allow me to take it to another level in college?
Dream on.
Hype is building with Prime to Auburn. It wouldn’t surprise me if that’s where he ends up.
Pass
I would be contributing, when the $30M goal is reached, but when that comes along, my money will be going for my Cubs’ season tickets as they go for their fifth consecutive World Series title.
Although on a more serious note, do we want a coach here when he won’t let his own players out of the hotel because it’s too dangerous in Houston? Does it get less dangerous because he’s the coach?
I would be be down for Prime time. I love his Tik Tock’s
Look, i dont trust deion ever since he convinced the Texans to sign Ed Reed. Case and point
Hard to overcome that one. Checkmate!
Just trying to help Ed earn additional retirement money what’s wrong with that? McNair could of afforded it:rofl:
He’d take the Houston job over the Colorado job.
He knows the Texas High School system.
If we offered…our leadership is not smart enough to offer, their feckless and lost in the wilderness
ESPN says he’s going to accept the job at Colorado.
Interesting choice if he goes there.
But the bar is so low, he would need a shovel to get under it.
