Rice killed the T shirt fans, the casual walk up, but true fans want a Bowl game. It is still possible.
Yes, and its likely equally possible that Joe Biden will pass away and leave $50 million to UH.
A bowl game isn’t necessarily out of reach.
All it would take is beating Baylor, Cincy, and UCF, none of which have been too impressive this year.
Not saying it’s SUPER likely, but it’s not out of reach. It’s more likely than the Biden scenario you described.
It’s not an excuse but we need to have more respect for Rice now. They’re 4-4 and 2-2 in the AAC. That’s a solid opponent in the conf we just left. They’re obviously not a CUSA pushover anymore.
What about when we go 5-7 and fall a game short of bowl eligibility?
The hard truth is that the only current Big 12 visiting schools that will sell out TDECU are UT and OU and both of those schools are leaving!
We couldn’t even sell out our first game in the Big 12, vs NC runner-up TCU.
The West Virginia game was light and I fully expect Cincinnati and Oklahoma State to be empty stadiums.
We aint going NOWHERE! Y’all need to stop smoking that “Teggritty Farms” stuff from Colorado. Only hope for a next win is Baylor and that’s a MAYBE.
Somo merda!!!
Two tickets for the Cincinnati and Oklahoma State games are $35 total. Even with those prices the stadium will not be full.
There were a ton of Longhorn fans there what are u talking about lol, lots of orange
I agree. It was the same during our SWC years when you could only depend on UT, A&M and possibly Arkansas to bring a load of fans.
Well said. Thank you!

You can’t say we lack Big 12 depth to compete when we lose to Rice
You can’t blame NIL when we lose to Rice
You can’t get angry over recruiting when we lose to Rice
hell, the rice game last year, too. and the tulsa game. and any time dana played tulane.
I don’t know much about ticket sales and that stuff, but losing to Rice, certainly hacked a lot of people off. UH fans had expectations. People expected this team to perform better than it has. I expected the UH team to compete and be fun to watch. This team has done neither. And YES, this mess goes straight to Dr. Khator’s office.
-
we expanded the student section because those tickets were not going to sell. And even then there were hundreds of UT fans in the student section.
-
I was pleasantly surprised we outnumbered horn fans but if you removed all UT fans there were maybe 30-32,000 Coogs in attendance. Robertson could’ve held us.
-
that’s about 7-8,000 fewer than we had vs Memphis or Louisville.
Losing to Rice under Dana is a killer.
Reminder that a lot of Coog fans sold their ticket to this one game (UT) to cover their season tickets
