They're saying Case Keenum could start against the Oilers--err, Titans

Texans’ Case Keenum shows off TV talents on ESPN’s ManningCast (chron.com)

“For now, Case Keenum’s full attention is on preparing to start at quarterback if Houston Texans rookie sensation C.J. Stroud is unable to go this weekend. Though after the latest edition of ESPN’s ManningCast, it appears the veteran backup could have a future around the game to look forward to once his playing days are done…”

Love Case but I really want Stroud ready to go vs. Browns.

Did you hear the announcers “ it was a tribute to Bum”

If the believed that….:smirk:

The nfl always takes its fans for dummies. For some sadistic reasons they enjoy it. There are no other reasons for it. Who in their f…g mind would think it was appropriate to have the adams toupee titans wear the Oilers colors against Houston?
Every public nfl funded stadium should have a clause that says:
“Team name and colors stay in the city where stadium is built in case franchise wants to move to an area greater than fifty miles”

Cleveland is #1 in least yards allowed. Case is really going to have to come up big!

The Raiders and Rams have too good a franchise history and brand to wipe the slate clean. Plus, plenty of Raiders fans in Vegas and Rams fans in LA. Additionally, the Chargers only play 2 counties away from their old home, so no need to throw away all that history (did I mention the Chargers started in LA?).

You went too far with the spanos chargers.
I was a season ticket hold for many years.
dean spanos is bud adams 2.0 minus the toupee. He is a double douche bag. Unlike his dad he ruined the franchise.
He took the city of Sand Diego for hostage demanding a new stadium. One of the San Diego mayor (can’t remember her name) even guaranteed a unsold tickets to be reimbursed to the spanos.
The City of San Diego, the County of San Diego and even local municipalities did everything to keep them in town. But no he wanted the tax payers to pay for the majority of the new stadium with all kinds of perks,
No only did he take an entire region for hostage he also got rid of the best players when they were in their prime.
Rodney Harrison wining the Super Bowl with the Patriots.
Junior Seau no longer in his prime but still reached the SB with the Patriots.
Vincent Jackson WR
There are a lot more to add. Anybody that knows the hatred between Los Angeles and San Diego knows the Chargers belong in San Diego never in L.A.
spanos is a scum bag only interested in cashing in the media money. When they moved to Carson (the then Home Depot center) the stadium was not even sold out…It holds less than 30k.
I have been lucky and been to many stadium here and other countries. Jack Murphy/Qualcom stadium was as loud as it gets. This was truly tough on the opposition. Peyton Manning will tell you all about it. I was inches away when LT beat the record:

Jim Nantz was on the call and was a frequent radio guest. Jim loved the Chargers to play in San Diego. He too can’t stand that douche bag spanos took them to L.A.
I had jerseys and other stuff. The day they moved I took it to goodwill and put some stuff on ebay.
The Chargers might have started briefly in L.A. but this would be like taking the Rockets back to San Diego.
The chargers have an interesting history with:
Al Davis, John Madden (SDSU and Don Coryell), Ray Kroc, Sid Gilman, Don Coryell (offensive genius)
They just fired their HC and G.M. Karma for you. They are dead to me just tens of thousands in the San Diego area and even in Orange County.

In the words of Case….

I’m built for this.

I have never been to Qualcom stadium but do remember driving by it while visiting my brother in the Navy. His apartment was less than 2 minutes away. A real shame they moved the chargers.

Really unfortunate that Stroud is still in the concussion protocol, this game vs Cleveland is huge.

I like their chances.
Browns w a ton of injuries.
Flacco has been good off the couch but throws picks.

They love Case in The Land.
Fans wanted Case in 2021 w Baker M playing hurt but he refused to sit.

Stroud must’ve really knocked something loose.

I believe in Case, but Stroud is obviously better and gives Texans better chance to win

Case will be fine with last week’s game under his belt, he will be a lot more comfortable.
