We finally look like a damn Big 12 school. So overjoyed rn guys
Many newcomers and students will be UH fans for life! What a game!
Great crowd. Let’s do this again.
Drone show was legit!
Several people told me this was their first game ever or their first game in years
Thanks Mattress Mack!!!
I couldn’t get service in the stadium to post it in the game thread, but yeah, every game should be like that
One of the best produced games ever! The shows were amazing! The crowd was on fire! Go Coogs!
For the first time in a while, I thought UH’s presentation and pregame and in-game entertainment was what college football should be about in Houston. There was a lot of tailgating on a crisp autumn day, a meaningful conference game with post season implications, sellout crowd, somewhere between 80%-90% UH, a fun drone show and fireworks, and UH looking like it will be a player for the conference championship.
Best of all, UH proved it can host exciting college football that people will attend. There is a market for it.
It made me even forget how terrible the new “host” is.
Everyone pretty much ignored her
That was only 1200 tix Gregg… there was 42,444 people there…
But, agreed… thanks Mack!
Wow. How different our stadium looks wtih a packed house and top notch entertainment along with a very good team and game. With the exception of not having forethought to have enough concessions items and traffic plans, I could tell much planning and thought went into the game entertainment. It was very noticeable.
Boy Kyle u really missed it last night, good energy, great drone shows, fireworks what a game! Louisville was still better though as far as loudness and overall energy
Yeah… didn’t get back to NC until 10:30 on Friday night so couldn’t make it. Glad someone else got to experience the stadium when it’s rocking in my place, though.
Good thing is I see many more of these games in our future with Willie at the helm.
These are the games that make Coogs proud to be an alum.
100%. Go Coogs!
Louisville was louder but this game had that same energy. The band was awesome. The biggest difference was OSU brought a great crowd, way more than Louisville. This game was more exciting with the game in doubt all the way to the end.
Night games with a ranked opponent are just different. Great show by the team and impressed with the atmosphere at TDECU
