Need to dim or turn off stadium lights to better appreciate the fantastic drone show and fireworks ![]()
For the first time since the Texas game yrs ago , the upper deck was filled. I couldnât believe what I was seeing. So what exactly did marketing do different this time? The pre game show ? Etc. Whatever they did and pricing etc, we need to keep doing that. If we could just get 30 k something per game that would be great. So glad we won so all the newbies didnât get disappointed. OSU has a really good offense. They scored 3 pts in the first half which helped us weather the storm then we added some scores.
Yeah, the advent of interminable reviews and extra-long TV timeouts really made it hard to maintain the noise, imo.
I think we have to change to a different kind of light to make that happen, but I could be wrong.
We need to get back where cheer leaders work both sides yelling â Houston !!! Other side Cougarsâ
Why have they stopped this? It would get the stadium rockin even more
Donât know why we stopped
All it takes is for Coogs to show up and can the excuses
This game was like two games in one. The first half was relatively slow, a defensive game. The second half was like a NASCAR race. Score team V, score team H. Score team V, score team H. OSU kept it close and exciting but could not get over the hump UH defense put in front of them. Way to go, D and the O kept up by scoring tit for tat. Great game to attend. Well worth the $$$ for tickets, even if phone connection for online purchased tickets was unavailable close to and inside the stadium.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO . . . . . That is a longhoar thing . . . . .
I know⌠Iâm still sick I couldnât use my front row seats for this game, but work comes first.
My favorite seat is in the 300 section at midfield. Can see the whole field. Usually Iâm up there with about two other people. Was great to see those seats occupied.
We sit in 308 at the 50 in chairbacks and view is excellent
I think the current lights are either metal halide or mercury vapor, both of which need a few minutes of restrike time, although there are metal halide fixtures with hot restrike, but they are really expensive. If we had LED lights it would be easy. Sooner or later the current fixtures will need replacing and LED would be the way to go.
Wait! Are you saying that the Longhorn cheerleader get on opposite sides of the field and do the Houston Cougars thing? Who would have thought. ![]()
You misspelled whore
Some KSU thing came up on YouTube about our game. First thing was about attendance. He air quoted saying we announced 44,500 (we didnât) then said it only seats 39,000 (it doesnât) and then said âit wasnât even full probably 35,000 but good for them.â
It is not a âlonghorn thingâ
Or perhaps try a âwhose house chantâ with both sides of the stadium.
This is not directed at you Red but itâs on the same topic: Remember the lights went out at the end of the first half against Southern and it was halfway through the half when they came back on in full.
Got a link?
We had standing room to get to the 0ver 42k for ok state. Really at all Coog games there are tons of people in the concourse at any given moment. If all got into their seats 100% of the time, it would always look fuller. Lol
