This loss is on the offense

I did review it. If it is even close then you essentially threw it backwards. You can’t throw passes that can be mistaken for backwards. Thats bad football and even worse when you just stand there and watch it go bye bye.

That was spread over 90 plays, so it wasn’t as bad as it looks. Shout out to conditioning - D had every reason to be worn down. While they clearly showed fatigue, they were never completely depleted.

I’m okay with that…

Wait… you missed the game???

Ban user…

Say what? Tech could have scored even more. It was worse than the score.

Agreed.

Tech was 5-8 in FG kicking. They also ran out the clock when they could’ve scored. I’m actually surprised they didn’t try with how the Big 12 is perceived.

Our offense sucked. We had one drive of over 5 plays in the second half and it resulted in 19 yards and a 4th down fail.

We put our defense in so many bad positions that 23 of their 35 points came off short drives under 47 yards. One of their scores was on a one yard drive.

Game could’ve easily been 52-11

Which ones are the young ones?

It seems like this is a regurgitated talking point on here. Like, we need to continue and point out that they have a good team.

Lots of posters before the game saying that Tech was a paper tiger and hadn’t beaten anyone.

Which doesn’t matter either way. There are enough tech fans spewing propaganda. We don’t need more threads from our own fans.

They averaged a 6.1 yards per play, a liitle more than 1 yard more than what ours averaged (4.9), which everyone agrees was poor. Defense held almost as much as anyone reasonable can expect. The only time Tech could have scored more was on the final drive, and even that is not guaranteed. The rest of the time they tried and failed.

Last night showed the real effects of the University of Houston being left out of the Big 12 for nearly three decades. During that time while Texas Tech and Baylor were collecting close to $1 billion in TV revenue, attendance income, exposure, and alumni donations, Houston was left behind. And now, just as we finally joined the conference and started to build momentum, along came NIL — essentially legalized cheating — making the climb even steeper. Whatever each of us giving financially, we need to increase it.

You must not have watched the game and are just going by the stats. But if that’s what you need to cope, more power to you.

I don’t think, but could very well be wrong, that this a problem with the OC, it more has to do with talent and Fritz. We don’t have the talent to be successful with this scheme and Willie doesn’t seem willing to do anything about it.

I absolutely watched the game. The entire game, not just the parts that made me angry. The stats are nothing less than one sided, as was the game. But they clearly show that the defense was not the source of 90% of our problems. Your blame is misplaced.

You sound like an aggie, they don’t lose games they just ran out of quarters. Hey that 35 points was over 90 plays! That was dominant!

It was bad, too.

You misspelled MONEY . . . . .

Correct. He has a scheme he’s dead set on and doesn’t want to change. 3rd and 10, 2 TD down, and he runs the ball.

Not only spewing, but throwing numeric symbols of their collective IQ . . . . .
