This loss is on the offense

On that play, I felt Koziel broke the wrong way. I think Connor was expecting him to break to the middle of the field as it was wide open. When Koziel broke the wrong way Connor tried to adjust but couldn’t as he was getting hit.

Our pass blocking was inexistent. It does not matter if you play FBS DIV I, the pros or high school football you can’t compete if you do not have a minimum of protection. Our entire OL including our TE’s did not show up. Tanner had two catches. You need help for better protection? Make sure Tanner is part of your protection. That is on the OC. I am sorry but too many times we were grossly exposed. That can’t happen at any level.

Or buy it, in Tech’s case.

Last night’s cluster F was hard to watch. As many posters are saying Willie Ball is not changing. With Tech’s DC being good and at UH last year they knew what we were going to do on every snap. That with the officials bad calls the outcome isn’t surprising.

That was the majority of passing issues last year. Both QB’s Donovan and Zeon had no time to pass

I watched Tech’s QB He could scan the field 2-3 times with the protection he had

Willie is recruiting, though… let him cook!

We need a new offensive coordinator.

If we are recruiting better under Fritz we are not seeing it on the field.

Against winless Oregon St we had only 10:points after 54 minutes of play.

I do not see great talent.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion. Commentators are often wrong. I stand by the call being unfortunately correct. No noticeable shove. You’re welcome to look again.

The talent is young. That’s not going to show immediate dividends. Give it 2 years.

The one thing I hate about NIL. The days of recruiting and developing talent are basically gone. They either need to perform right away or they get replaced with a transfer, or worse they do well and immediately leave.

Yep. College Football is now free agency every year and NIL have turned it in to minor league pro ball.

Well, everyone that knows more about football than me says it was. Even so if its close cover it!

All the momentum for the offense was taken from them due to the horrible offensiating and drop passes.

He caught that ball on the 30 and was down on the knee.

That other call was a dropped forward pass that hit the ground.

Yes, the offense needs a crap ton of work, but we were playing an uphill battle against the refs and our own WR’s this game.

Regarding the defense, Tech received the ball on turnover multiple times on our side of the field, resulting in easy points for them (even though our redzone defense was good)

You know better than an actual ncaa ref?

There’s a good chance a newborn baby knows the rules better than an NCAA ref does.

The officiating I saw last night proves my point beyond reprieve

One commentator can have an opinion maybe two in this case. After extensive replays the actual espn ref consultant tells its audience that the call has to be reversed. espn had the same angles that the field ref did.

It takes 2-3 years to see the full results from a recruiting class assuming they don’t transfer.

Whoever the everyone is that you listen to are wrong. Just look at the replay. Then you can make your own opinion.

I remain hopeful about recruiting.

In 1973 Coach Yeoman signed his greatest class up to that time.

The Freshman class saw playing time, especially Wilson Whitley.

We went 11-1 in 1973.

We need impact players for 2026. Freshmen and Transfers.
