Ah, yes. I’m familiar with that theory…thanks for the reply. I’m looking fwd to dissecting those files when they come out.
But low-key, I’d much rather prefer the more controversial files, like Roswell, the Rendlesham Forest incident, etc. to be released, although I’m sure those would be heavily redacted as well.

Huge question is how could the bureau NOW come up with 2,400 new files…

They already have thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of files related to the UFO & “Paranormal” phenomena on gov sites like the FBI or CIA for all the public to access & see.
There’s interesting docs on there. Nothing conclusive, but interesting nonetheless.

You mentioned about redaction. That is key especially with how much time that has passed. More than likely these new 2,400 pages might contain key evidences. The first bombshell is that they were more than one shooter.

Government releasing government files. Yes hard to trust that it is actually complete and accurate.
I don’t know that these file releases will provide any new truth. Likely will be fodder for new theories and half baked ideas.
Look forward to all the new armchair experts discussing these files.

Let’s find out what will come out. There was/is a reason these files have been top secret for so long. Am I too optimistic that we will know the truth? At least it seems that there is a real effort that we will know.
Why are you asking me? I waiting for the newly released files and public hearings. Then you can make up your own conclusions.
What if the government, after review and hearings, “concludes” that Oswald acted alone?

The goal of files to be released is to no longer have “What ifs” Time will tell.
Most will still believe what they want regardless of what comes out.
