Ticket Office

Well said. Because we are incompteant bycicle riders
.

I’ve had issues in the past as well. This may sound silly, but did you try to restart your computer? Sometimes the browser needs to be refreshed.

A little FYI from the inside…Ticketing was gutted over the summer as a contract ran out, at one point, they only had three people left in the office. They are just now building back up some, but there are a few things changing behind the scenes and the transition will cause some headaches. Goal is to try to stabilize things and make it better long term.

Figured that was the case. Probably wouldn’t hurt if Nunez would acknowledge the issues and offer just a hint of future upgrades to performance. It could be done without throwing anyone under the bus and might save those currently in the department a little grief. It has to be wearing on them.

Had similar issues trying to renew basketball. They couldnt do the 3 month payment plan and had to pay everything at once because their email and what they stated was wrong

I tried on my phone, laptop and kindle. Same error on all devices.

ok but like why does paciolan suck so bad? that shouldn’t require people in the office

If UH has any thoughts about hosting big football crowds, they need to fix the ticket office. Use this time while the team is rebuilding to make changes in personnel, procedures, etc., so that when there is a demand for tickets, you make the process as easy as possible. I’m a long time season ticket holder, but if I was an average fan and tried to buy tickets and it was a frustrating process, I would not come back.

Goodness knows I’ve tried to buy tickets for events or activities that I only had a passing interest in attending. The times I couldn’t buy a ticket, or make a reservation, on the first round, I’ve moved on and figured I didn’t miss much.

Anyone with only a passing interest in spending a Saturday watching UH football will likely feel the same and move on.

Unfortunately, a decent number of those won’t ever try again.

we suck at running a business $$ lol

Sold my two extra tickets for unlv on seat geek, actually for more than I expected. Good Coog bought them. We got to talking and he said it was easier to buy them there even if a tad bit more expensive with the extra fees.

I just got the email offering rice tickets for as low as $10. I’m tempted to try to buy one to see if it’s still a cluster.

But then I’d have even more tickets I can’t give away.

It looked like it was going to work for me.

Ha, evidently they’ve read this. I just got a call from the ticket office. Very nice man said he worked for the Texans and about 10 of them were contracted to come over and help. So the new AD is doing good.

It’s my understanding that the most, if not all of the ticket office staff was let go and brought in new people. I know that my contact, who helped me thru several situations, is gone, and I’m guessing it was not his choice. He went out of his way to work with me and took care of my issues. Extremely sorry for his departure.

I got a call back today with an apology, an offer to refund my $20 (I refused) and a promise to investigate what is happening that my account and new account wouldn’t work. Also gave me two tix to KSU. I appreciate the sincere apology, I just hope the issue is corrected going forward.

At least I have a contact now for when it happens again next week when I am trying to purchase the A&M basketball tickets.

I’d call that a success for the ticket office.

This year is a wash, unless we go Jack pardee. So it’s good to get the kinks out with fans who will give more leeway than a casual passerby in prep for when we start doing better and get more interest.

If you want an alternative way to get tickets, you can get them through the Spirit of Houston. The fees aren’t high either.
