That Del Conte VOC was on December 12 and feels quite different than TF’s. Del Conte’s came after UT was eliminated from the Big 12 title game by #9 Iowa State at home. Had UT played KU on 12/12, they likely would have finished the season 8-3 with the Alamo Bowl win over CU. An issue was when many players opted out of the Alamo Bowl, recruiting was down and once again they didn’t make the conference title game.

When Tommy was fired on January 2, Del Conte said, “From the time I made the statement, I had not completed my evaluation. When I completed that evaluation [and secured Sark as HC], it became apparent a change needed to be made.”

If UH players start opting out and we become bowl ineligible, Dana will be fired. With close losses to solid but not great teams, we’re still okay. We need a run of close, or convincing, wins.

That makes him a BMD.

Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun and Jabari Smith.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jabari_Smith_Jr.

This is our future Big 3.

Learn their names, because this is the next Curry, Thompson and Green or James, Wade and Bosh.

You heard it hear.

Tillman pays the salaries and would pay the buy out and the new salary, so unless you will step up and do it what he says goes. Also, it you were dressed as an empty chair Friday night, you really have no leg to stand on with real Cougar Fans.

That statement was not a show of support…Saying he is the HC means absolutely zero… He isnt going to be fired now no matter how bad a year he has… Next year is an entirely different matter.

Ok thanks so much!

There are much worse fates that can befall a man than to waste away again in Margaritaville counting $18 million.

Let’s right this damn boat … Go Coogs!!

Nothing screams there is serious issues behind closed doors than the dreaded Vote of Confidence. There is no way RK is going to let this act fly for much longer.

I don’t think RK has a say in the matter. What Fertitta wants, he gets.

Until anybody else wants to step up and pay the bills, it is the way it should be. But RK and Fertitta are of the same mindset. They both see the importance of college athletics in making us a top 50 public university. We are on our way with Med school, Optometry school, Law school, Engineering school, Arch. school and HRM, all quality.
