I don’t hate the Titans, the villain of that franchise is dead and the players and coaching staff had nothing to do with the move. As for professional teams, I mainly pull for players – former UH players. Of course I do pull for the Texans because it says Houston in front of Texans. I pull for teams that rep the city.

Sorry
I hate the Titans because they still own the “Oilers” name, franchising rights, etc

So whenever anyone buys a throwback jersey, they get paid.
Primarily because unlike the Browns, they didn’t have enough class to leave the name with the city that made them rich

The only thing more Texan than Oiler is
 Well
 Texan.

Do you really think the Texans would change back to the Oilers at this point?

The Texans didn’t even get their own name right.

The fighters for and citizens of the Republic of Texans were called ‘Texians’ not Texans.

Naming your team after the people of your state is as lazy as you get
especially since you were copying a previous name of the Kansas City Chiefs ( Dallas Texans)

I miss the Oilers. Don’t miss Bud but Amy Adams Strunk is a tremendous change. Just ask any Oilers alumni.

You are a very negative person. Have a drink and chill.

Maybe not but then at least we could blame the McNaire’s.
I still think they made a mistake by not at least honoring the past.

It’s been a long time and I see nothing good about holding on to something that has been over and done fo a couple of decades.

Great memories and the former players I grew up watching have paid for he price for the Adams’ selfishness. Really I am not holding on, it is just wrong.

I root for whoever employs Case Keenum.

Man
I have an Aaron Glenn jersey
 I ride with the Texans!

Are you one of those “drink the kool aid” Texan fans?

If so, they want all of their fans to remain drunk so they won’t see what they are actually doing.

I’m with Mike, it says Houston on jersey, so I pull for them. Don’t have anywhere near the same enthusiasm, energy, spirit, I did for the Oilers but at the end— HOUSTON!! #Native

Actually I think they probably would.

The Texans have mostly stunk as a franchise
.I think if they got the name back Cal would do some polling to see what fans thought( especially season ticket holders).

Most people in Houston still love the Oilers
.think about it, it would be a total rebrand to wash the Texans stink off
.Bill O’ Brian set the franchise back years with his asinine trades and game decisions
.Cal would make a ton of money off merchandise and the fan base would be re-charged.

I think they would absolutely change to Oilers.

I want them to find a way to get the Oilers back. It is our history!

Many franchises have found a way to get it done.

The Charlotte Hornet go their name back from New Orleans.

The Cleveland Browns got their name back.

The LA Rams ended up getting their name and franchise back.

And as i mentioned before, the ‘Texans’ name actuslly belonged to the Kansas City Chiefs and somehow we obtained it.
