Tom Herman- a cautionary tale

Maybe a bit, but it always seems that when we take 1 step forward, we coubter it by taking 2 steps back.

We massively overpay Holgorsen & Belk, then we can’t keep Shiel Woods because we can’t match TxTech’s offer

I remember sitting in the stands pregame knowing it was likely we would lose. His name was on fire again and we usually played like crap those weeks. I told my buddy, if we get blown out they shouldn’t even let him back on the bus.

Ill take the Hermans every day of the year…you can be mediocre with a Holgorson or awful with a Dimel

Herman would have been your Holgorsen if he stayed.

It is nice to know that psychopaths have some followers.

The only QB his offense didn’t get hurt was Chase Clement at Rice.

I seem to remember a big spike in concussions while he was here. I don’t care how many times you kiss a guy, his act was always going to wear thin at some point. Glad it happened in Austin instead of here.

Wasn’t he the guy that hung 56 on us at their place? I remember they scored 14 on us out of the gate and our offense stalled out the first two possessions. After that, we just matched them touchdown for touchdown the rest of the game and lost by 14. Man, that was frustrating.
I remember walking into the restroom and screaming, “Recruit defense, Sumlin!”

I think they also had James Casey too

Maybe we can have him renovate the Houston locker rooms next time…

2008 at Rice, Casey dominated us, like a man against boys.

Jacket gate!

Tillman was on record that we offered him $5MM

He was a man v boys. He spent a few years in the white Sox organization before going to rice.

Herman did renovate the football locker room. It came out awesome too.

The circle drill he conducted was an injury waiting to happen. I saw it and it is very violent. The players really seem to get in to it.

Idk, for me the canary in the coal mine was that call-in to Lopez & Wright over the whole Kyle Allen thing. That was deeply cringeworthy for everyone who listened to it. Your Head Football Coach should not be a talk radio caller.
