My kid threw against both. He’s at top golf right now, but my guess is he says go Memorial (they lit him up). he

Go Memorial, because they have future Coog Isaac Richardson. He hit the walk off HR against Dripping Springs (at Cougar Field no less).

If you listen to the announcer, he says that Isaac moved on campus last week … before this game was played.

Memorial has such a wild coaching story, too.

42-1-1. That’s crazy.

Sad cause I knew the former assistant who left for another job thinking that gig will never open up - then someone else gets it with no experience

Our former hometown. Go Tomball!

Cool, didn’t know all that.
I can be happy now, no matter the outcome.

He needs to reign in the BS……talking sh-t to opposing players while rounding the bases is bush league.

Hard disagree. Let sports be fun.

Games changed a lot since this geezer played…he would have never made it around bases with that act…Never seen Coach York allow that. HS Ball :unamused: …Sure staff will reel him in on controlling emotions…or…he’ll get a few in the ear hole playing with the big boys

Showing up an opponent has nothing to do with being “fun”.
It’s bush league.

You know what’s fun? WINNING.

It’s fine to show emotion when you hit a walkoff homerun to win what is thus far the biggest game of your life. Don’t like it? Strike him out.

Did you even watch the video?

Showing emotion is fine……rounding the bases and yelling sh-t at the SS and 3rd baseman is not okay.

If this was pro ball, the first batter in the next game would get one in the ear hole.

Oh no, a kid talked a little bit of trash. You’re right, he’d definitely deserve to get physically assaulted and perhaps injured in the next game if they were playing another one. That would be much classier and more appropriate.

You’ve obviously never played any serious ball….which is fine, but you are showing you don’t know the game at all.

I’ve never had ANY kid come close to doing that crap….i teach them the game the right way.

Why don’t you go look at the comments on Twitter if you don’t believe me.

I do not care about High School Baseball Twitter’s opinions. The “unwritten rules” are for boomers.

I’m glad Isaac is a Coog and I look forward to seeing what he does in football and/or baseball here.

I love the energy and emotion after that huge HR. But better to show it when you’re celebrating with your teammates instead of directing it towards your opponent.

I’m not a boomer and you’d be wrong….

But sure, disparage an entire generation for no reason….

lol “Boomers” …clueless…and you’d be wrong if you think the young guns won’t retaliate for that bush league bs…it’s how you or worse, one of your teammates, get spiked or catch one in the ear hole
