If I were to say Sampson doesn’t trust/like /want black players-- that would be ok.? Hell no, you would be crapping yourself to get him fired, right? What is over the top is the racism of the posters, and it needs to be called out. What gravely disappoints me is the is the subtle racism of others on this site. Racism is ok–as long as it directed in a way that they approve.

I have seen your posts for a long time, and they are generally spot on and they are appreciated. Not so much this time, just have the guts to call it what it is, decline the euphemisms.

So very true, and you also do not see that many white kids that are over 6’6’ and beyond, it is a stastical fact, not to mention that HISD ‘allstars’ are almost always black. It is as it should be, a merit system-one excels he/she should be rewarded regardless of race.

To suggest that Coach Sampson is a racist is laughable.
To answer the question about white players at UH, we have to go back further than 20 years. UH has had a number of white players on the roster over the years but I will only focus on starters that made a significant contribution: All of them are local players: Reid Getty, Houston Memorial, Ken Ciollli, Houston Sterling, and David Marrs, Houston Lamar. Poo Welch wasn’t from Texas, but from close by Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Hudson Greer is a 4 star white guy that plays for JL3.
Higher ranked than Shelton and some others that we’re recruiting.
