Rumors are flying. Let’s hope we keep him

Denver Harris is in the portal. Does anyone know if he had any issues at UTSA?

Apparently, he did.

Can’t trace the source now since im at work, but I recall an article where the dude just wasnt putting in any effort or something like that.

He stayed out of trouble off the field but allegedly he didnt take G5 ball seriously and wants to get back in the P4.

Won’t be here. Needs to be somewhere he is a guaranteed starter. He had a good year at UTSA, both on and off of the field.

Those aren’t any rumors coming from his camp. The internet just has to stay employed. One way or another. They got you talking about it, bringing it here, letting its flame catch wind to start spreading. In my Kendrick Perkins voice, “ya’ll #CarryDaHellOn

lol I guess the guy is entitled to have an opinion. Everyone on this board seems to have one( even you.
He is a UH commit and rumors will abound until he gets on campus.

Another guy that should be back with this Juco ruling is Zykeius Strong.

Could be the Keith Cooper replacement.

Wait, so the JUCO ruling applies to everyone or just to Pavia?

Because if it applies to everyone eligible under a certain criteria, that’s gonna be make for perhaps THE CRAZIEST Spring transfer portal in CFB yet.

It applies to everyone.

It seems you are the only one consistently doing the rumor. I believe you want him to leave.

lol. If you really feel that way I feel sorry for you.
Mostly everything to do with recruiting is rumors.
But I get it, you just want to hear the ones leaning our way at the moment.
Chill. I was just repeating something I heard that could carry some weight.
To say that I want the kid to go elsewhere is ludicrous and a flat out lie .

Butch, I never consider a recruit a lock until he signs on he dotted line, and even then with the current transfer rules, you still have to wait until he actually enrolls.

But, it is something to talk about and to be optimistic about. It shows we are actually getting looks from kids that would not have given us a thought a few years ago.

Mike,
I believe you are 100% correct . Our new facilities, academic success and B12 membership has gone a long way to leveling the playing field for us.

In regards to BYU’s complaint about rankings used for team strength in pre-season polls, I did a small sample size. Recruits ratings take the biggest hit, on average, when a player leaves his original SEC team. To BYU’s point, many of the ratings don’t come out until that player joins another team, which seems a little suspect. The fact that the biggest penalty, on average, comes from leaving your original SEC team plays into the ESPN narrative of SEC “supremacy”

Absolutely and no one wants the kid here more than I do.

“offensive starters in the portal include quarterback E.J. Warner (undecided), guard Chad Lindberg (North Carolina), and offensive tackle Ethan Onianwa (Ohio State).”

They could be dreadful in 25.
