It appears that this is another example on how the ncaa have protected the blue bloods at all cost.
ncaa rules for most and not for the blue bloods. This is regardless of how much cheating they do.
I was a kid during Schilchterâs career, but my memory is that the gambling stuff only came out when he was in the NFL. The irony is that he was known as an ideal kid in college; his biography was literally titled âStraight Arrow.â But I think every young man in America should be required to read that guyâs wikipedia page. What an awful life he has led. Once addiction gets its claws sunk into you, it can make your life a living hell.
Living on the jagged edge
The only wagers I have ever had on any sporting events were with friends in the office and were for only a few bucks or a lunch.
Oh yeah, I would also buy a square or two in the office pools.
There is a middle ground. I enjoy wagering. I look at it as entertainment. My partner and I arenât movie people. I can make a $25 bet on a football game and have 4 hours of entertainment. Same or a little less that we would spend at a movie. Plus, I can pop my own popcorn!
Thank you for responding Jeff. That is what i found on the net. almost nothing. If it had been UH instead of osu we can only imagine what the ncaa would have done.
What is mind boggling is that he completed college and was an All American. Not only did osu know but more importantly the ncaa did nothing about it.
By not knowing what he bet on being an osu player osu should have been forced to give back all the wins they had when he playedâŠthat is the bare minimum.
Rules for them but not for me.
