I loved it… you might give it an extra episode.
The show made me aware of the sub-genre Lovecraft.
The elements used for story telling can be great and annoying…You keep wanting answers but it just leads to more questions.
Ambiguity and Unreliable Narrators:
Lovecraft often uses ambiguity and unreliable narrators to create a sense of unease and disorientation. Severance utilizes this as well, leaving many questions about Lumon, its origins, and the severance procedure unanswered, further contributing to the unsettling atmosphere.
I really wasn’t a fan of season two’s payoff but the ride was amazing.
This series is really good
No. If you are not liking it, that is unlikely to change
Untamed seems to be good. I just started it today.
From I recall, I was intrigued after the first episode, but a whole lot of “WTF am I watching?!?”
That sentiment continued the whole way through.
Star Trek Strange New Worlds has a new season that just started on Paramount Plus.
Started real well, but they sort of rushed the end trying to fit it into only 8 episodes.
Went ahead and watched all episodes of Untamed.
It is ok to almost good. The “surprise” ending was a little disappointing.
Predict there will be no second season.
I’m about halfway through. It’s fine so far but not great.
There is a movie with Eric Bana called “The Dry” from a few years back….really good.
I was hoping this was going to be equally good but personally I was disappointed.
It was a bit all over the place and several of the actors were lacking IMO.
“The Dry” is on Netflix. Will watch it.
I looked on Netflix and got a response saying they didn’t have that Title. Same for Tubi, Prime said with Sundance subscription. Apple has it for $3.99, do you know of anywhere else?
I am gonna watch The Dry tonight. Thanks.
I am mistaken. “The Dry” is not on Netflix.
I finished it and agree. I wasn’t invested in that character at all. Very meh.
It was ok but way to slow for me.
Now living in the Raleigh area, like watching the Andy Griffith show reruns.
My dad had me watching the Andy Griffith show back in the 90s when I was a kid. We were in Raleigh for 3 days this summer.
Is Raleigh where the show was filmed?
Just finished the Billy Joel documentary on HBO.
What a life!
What a musical talent!
