They don’t consider Prometheus or Alien Covenant cannon from what i heard. Prometheus had the writer fired in the middle of it. Can’t say i have problem going a different direction
I’d guess, that’s more likely to be done in book or comic book form. Though you never know, as I’m sure 5-10 years ago, this show wasn’t on anyones mind of being done.
I could be completely wrong, but i feel what happened on the ship will be shown more later this season through flashbacks.

Season one aired April 2024, Season two airing later this year! So glad we don’t have to go 3 years between seasons!

I’ll die on this specific hill, if you make people wait three years between seasons. We the viewing public deserve, nay, are entitled to at least 12 episode seasons if not a full old school 24 episode run.

Yeah I dont know what is going on with these shows only doing 8-10 episodes then gone for multiple years. I haven’t watched the new season of Wednesday Adams on netflix but I found out they did 8 episodes total and on top of that split those 8 into two four episode releases. 
Criminal. For 8-10 episodes better churn those bad boys out at least once a year.
Morrow became the most interesting character.
Am I wrong, I thought we saw Yutani in a previous episode and she was old?

Netflix started that trend and it’s the worst. On the bright side, at least we’re not the UK, where you can go two years for a brand new…three episode season.
She mentioned the grandmother, whom Morrow was expecting to talk to.
Not to be the harbinger of doom, but ya’ll better enjoy the peak TV we have going on now. It’s not going to be around much longer at this level, unless the millennials start watching long form TV.

Something I also caught back in the first episode, when Morrow runs into the first two Prodigy guys he asks them where Boy Kavalier is?
