UH Attendance is Up 18% Over Last Year

Friday’s game is at 6:00pm and the weather is great.

The 60k expansion was supposed to keep the skyline view area available. So I believe that full expansion is still possible.

Looks like about 10K here for kickoff against Tulane.

We have a LOOOOOONG way to go.

Hard to make a 6:00 kickoff. It’s filled in some. Home side lower level is about 90% full

Drunk halftime update

Other schools can make 6pm kickoffs? Stadium’s full every week except ours

That’s clearly not true.

And 6 pm Friday night games are always going to be tough in Houston or any city. Not saying we don’t have attendance issues but weekday games will always be a challenge. Most schools don’t fill up for them.

Houston is a bad college town. You have to thread the needle to get people to come out. No red-blooded Houstonian wants to spend 2 hours taking selfies in front of an empty stadium.

Holgi does not inspire the fans to attend. That’s the bottom line.

At 0-2 at home we have now seen our max attendance.

Tulsa, USF, and Temple.

How many of those tickets do you want?

Who the hell changed the title of my thread?
That’s effed up.
What gives?

I give tonight’s crowd credit where it was due - there were a few great moments where the place was really rockin’. It was also easier to get concessions and use the restroom. Like a high school game with decent assistance.

You also need to win games.

Agree. Also a front runner, everybody turns up when we you win town. That momentum cane be generated in a single season.

At least we have that going for us for the next HC.
Won’t happen again for this staff. Thanks for a great 2021.
