We swept Baylor but they are 9-9 in conference. Solid rebound for them.

Pitching coach Frank Anderson left after 2017 and last time we made a Regional was 2018, probably because we still had a few of his players on the roster.
Weāve gone downhill since then.

Iāve said it for years Whittings success from Anderson. I believe we would have won the regional in 2018 if Anderson was still there.

I completely agree with what you are saying. I can tell you without hesitation that TW plays favorites, and I wasnāt really joking when I made the Banditos comment.
The best hitters on the team are the guys, except for Ace, that did not play in the fall. Again, that goes back to him playing favorites. He honestly felt like last year was a big push into this year in the Big 12, which is asinine!
I admit that I was one of the ones who thought the pitching coach would be a big good to the program. He is still better than Bunn, but that doesnāt really mean anything, as Bunn was garbage.
I think the big issue of finding a new pitching coach was the fact that TW had such a BS contract extension so nobody wanted to come here. Everyone could see the writing on the wall!. I hear he is a lot better with the players in the pen, but that certainly hasnāt proven true in the games. There are a couple of pitchers who have gotten a little bit better, but certainly not the whole staff. And you can tell that TW is freaking out, much like he did last year, and is involved on all the pitching moves. You can watch the dugout when something is about to happen and TW is all up in Kennyās face. Normally, that wouldnāt be a problem, but TW knows absolutely nothing about pitching, and he goes back to his favorites, who canāt play.

Why not go with Duncan Howard on Saturday? Was he hurt last weekend when pitching three innings and giving up one run? They surely donāt think Roman will go six innings. Heās barely pitched that much all year.
My only coach observation was during a mound visit, the body language was dread upon the players when whitting was giving instructions

8-1 to bottom of third. Cade Citelli got out of jam in the first inning and has only given up one run.

UT Arlington is worse than I thought. Other than Black, they donāt have great hitters and no pitching at all.
