Watching Strake Jesuit beat Katy Paetow in playoffs…

Houston ISD Lamar vs Jesuit at Delmar next Friday at 7 pm supposedly.
Houston Yates dominated Needville 50-24 and Lamar beat Cy Fair.
Good for HISD.

Back in the 80’s and 90’s, my HS usually made it to the 4A (now 5A) quarterfinals on a regular basis.
I just looked them up and the last time they made the playoffs was 2019. I’m glad I was there back when Friday nights were fun.

Actually, he has almost 3200 yards and 38 TDs in 11 games this year, and averaging almost 11 yards per carry… He’s 360 yards away from his yardage total from last year (13 games).
In the playoff game vs Paetow, he had 384 yds and 4 TDs on 35 carries.
They’re going up against Lamar (at Delmar Stadium), who boat-raced a bad district this year - should be a tougher test.
