Recruiting websites clearly don’t care about the FCS as most FCS guys don’t have profiles. There’s FCS teams listed on 247, but they rarely ever update them
Haven’t seen anything, good or bad, which is concerning. I don’t see him coming back to split reps with Mack again. I think one of those guys would have to take over for Eddie Walls & put their hand in the dirt if we have any chance at keeping them both. I’d like to see Mack get up to 260lbs a fill that role.

It is not surprising that a lot of the players have inflated opinions of their worth, not the least of which, is due to agents putting stars in their eyes. Sometimes you have to walk away, if the player is trying to bust your budget. You can’t give a QB millions of dollars and not have an OL blocking in front of him.
GMs not only have to manage the talent on the roster, but they have to do it within the financial constraints of the school.

Latreveon had 1 sack this year. Mack had 5. Eddie Walls had more sacks than both of them combined. Going to need 3 or 4 really good pass rushers next year it would be disappointing if those guys don’t want to compete for snaps

Would love a big LB like morris.
Unless the transfer is from the Houston area, has a relationship with UH coaches, or has UH ties through family or friends, UH is probably expected to pay fair market value for transfers. That probably eliminates most of the 4,000+ players in the transfer portal. P4 transfers will have the highest price tag. That is why with proper evaluation, you can get more bang for your buck with productive G5 players.

FSU fans were critical of his play saying he was one of the lowest graded LBs in P4 this year and that he won’t be missed. Won’t stop me from getting excited about the addition. Lots of experience and comes from Cougar royalty

Agree on the price being high.
I don’t think schools should opt out either, but he was paid to play for Cincy. What if Weigman was paid $2 million to play at UH and then decided he would be better skipping the Texas Bowl. So being paid does not mean you actually have to play? Wish I had a job like that. That would really be sucky for those that paid the NIL in hopes of UH winning big games.
