UH Transfer portal news 2026

I just hope “Whitman” isn’t “impotent”…

Otherwise, I like your post…

I thought you might tie in “Leaves of Grass” somehow - very disappointing.

That’s complete bullcrap to come on the board and for someone to try to put out a rumor that Weigman is looking to transfer if that’s not 100% accurate. I’m calling on the original poster to provide more detail if that’s what he’s been hearing

There’s several guys doing this like it’s nothing. What’s worse, they’re doing it in a lot of different threads. It’s petty, at the least… and malicious at the worst…

I wouldn’t say he’s shooting blanks…

I apologize if I posted wrong. All things being as they are I can’t see why any of our core uber-talents would leave right now. But it’s a new world out there. I haven’t heard anything but I’m super disconnected from the program. There are people on here that hear more intel in one day than I hear in a whole season. Hell, Matt Thomas knows more than me and he house sits Reveillé.

He is a eunuch talent. I hope he decides to stay.

If CW transfers thats fine. Hes a great QB and the reason we won so many games. We also have to realize we werent paying him, it was on a favor to CWF (yes the donor) and if he doesnt get drafted early ish theres no reason to go pro when he can make more sonewhere else. Thats the game now and he will because hes proven hes good. Same as Leavitt

No it’s not fine. Weigman knows the system and will be a senior next year.
If he does leave then we will probably bring in a portal to back Henderson while Carlisle hits the portal or changes positions.
I don’t blame Weigman if he leaves because he willed us to 9 wins this year and is a great rep for the University.

So, how do you know this? Cite your sources. Spreading these rumors is damaging to his reputation…

I have posted that I think Weigman should stay at UH because he is familiar with the system, coaches and players, and would avoid the learning curve going to a new school.

That said, while I think his running has helped UH win, it does nothing to enhance his NFL draft value as a QB. It means NFL scouts have less video showing his pocket presence, footwork, defensive reads, and accuracy. No one would mistake UH’s offense as a NFL Pro-Style Offense. Based on Weigman’s performance this year, he would go undrafted.

The other issue that might make Weigman consider transferring is playing with a better OL and WRs. Presumably, better offensive talent around him would allow him to better showcase his skills to NFL scouts.

If he was going to transfer he wouldn’t be playing in this bowl imo… why risk injury if you believe you can get paid already?

I can confirm.

I was able to sneak into the locker room earlier this season. Didn’t want to post during the season, but… considering the circumstances…

He’s definitely a eunuch individual. :joy:

He was getting paid by private donors.

Y’all are crazy if you don’t think Wiggy will get a look in the NFL… But I think it will be after his senior year at UH.

Also he’ll have Keisean Henderson breathing down neck. Nothing is worst than potentially being benched your senior season….

I think at best for KH it would be a Quinn Ewers-Arch Manning scenario…
