This. You don’t want to put a freshman QB out there unless you have to, no matter how talented they are. Even moreso if you already have a high quality, senior QB coming back. There are a lot of intangibles in the game that can help you win that only experienced players can bring.

GEEZ, CW isnt leaving! He will be coming back as an outstanding veteran senior QB with a 22-7 record as a starter. Have a great year next year and he’ll be a high draft choice with a great NFL career in front of him. He loves the school, the team, his coaches…He isnt leaving and he even said so today! SO maybe some of you whiners who constantly complain and feed the board with negative drivel should shut up. Our program is on the upswing!! Embrace it…

This is turning out to be a great situation for the QB Room. You have Weigman returning, you add Bishop as a QB coach, AC and KH can mentor under Bishop and Weigman.
I wonder if there are enough chairs to seat all the QBs on the roster?

Would love to see some wildcat action( and much more) for AC and KH….they are too good of athletes to keep off the field.

Great news… I feel confident it was a tough decision for him to make. Between $$$$$$$$$ from other schools and having to worry about fans cheering for the backup after every bad play. There is a reason monceaux and other insiders didn’t immediately poopoo any of the rumors of him possibly transferring…
End of the day, best thing for UH is having CW back, its also the best thing for KH. Getting to learn from a really good QB like CW is invaluable.
