Oregon has another local player from Cypress, TX, I am monitoring. He hasn’t declared transfer, but he has until 1/16/26. DL Terrence Green, 6’5", 330 lbs., two years eligibility remaining, from Cypress Woods. If Porter signs with UH, and RB Makhi Hughes has already committed to UH, he has two teammates joining UH.
Three Oregon commits sounds like a much better number.
We finished 10-3 with a win over LSU in the Texas Bowl I imagine ALL the big donors opened up their checkbooks. Like I foresee at least a 5k increase in attendance average next season, everyone wants to get behind a winner!

That’s interesting the On3 ranking, ranks based upon transfers both directions. The LSU fans are mad they are not at the top but the ranking penalizes them for their transfer outs. Cool.

We also need to tip our hat to Wes Fritz and the rest of the team assisting him. I have to believe that team is doing the initial search for potential high school and transfer portal candidates.
According to the depth charts posted, he started in each of their last two playoff games.
I agree he’s a heck of a transfer portal add. MORE than makes up for the loss of Machado. I’d say he has a good chance to make our two-deep or even start.
What are the chances that the Oregon players who are from Houston will commit to us?
