Nope. On Thursday 4 teams will play their third game but most are playing Wednesday and for sure the final and the third place game are on Wednesday.

i can’t hate it too much if it helps rack in benjamins though im not sure how 8 big 12 teams in the same mte is gonna work unless the other 8 teams are gonzaga, sdsu and 2 of each from the other major conferences lol

As previously reported, Players Era (PEF) is inflating to 18 teams for next season, but it’s 2026 that stands to make history. Event organizers are planning to stage a whopping 32-team tournament in November 2026, sources told CBS Sports, which would make the PEF by far the biggest non-NCAA Tournament event in college basketball history.

If you think that’s ambitious, just know that 2024 and 2025 are ramp-ups for what the event’s founders are building for 2026 and beyond: a whopping 32-team men’s event that will combine World Cup-style pool play (eight teams in four pods) before feeding into bracket competition across a near-three-week span every November.
Despite an army of skeptics who tried to warn the coaches that something would go wrong, all eight teams were paid on time and in full as promised. Every school and coach from 2024 is back in Vegas this year, with some having recently agreed to long-term extensions to stay on with Players Era through the end of the decade.
