Southern is a good program right now and they have a good coach. They beat Arizona last week. That said watching the game Southern was definitely the better team.

They made the tournament last year and won a game. All the teams except Washington are top programs in women’s hoops which is much more top heavy. What kind of resources do you think a SWAC women’s program has?.

I know their coach isn’t making 600K a year like ours.

Big 12 Conference play starts Saturday Dec 20.
UH plays WVU. UH former player Gia Cooke is on WVU and leading the Mountaineers in scoring.
It appears the conference is stronger than the past 2 years. It is going to be tough for the Coogs.
They need to take care of the ball, make FT’s, and shoot more 3PTA!
They are showing more positional scoring balance and more quarter balance this year.
Last year there were several times they only scored 4,5, or 6 points in a quarter.

Rough one today. But I trust better days are ahead.
Women’s Basketball falls 46-101 to West Virginia in our Big 12 Conference opener.
Also, history was made; this is the most points West Virginia’s women’s team has scored in a single game.
Damn!
Haven’t watched the women play much. But some of these highlights aint good.
Giving up 100 pts, that’s an effort thing. Hope coach Mitchell can build a good culture

Can we win any conference games?
Maybe Cincinnati or UCF but thats it. Go look at there opening slate of conf games and they don’t have a winnable game for a month
