I have a solution to UH’s tackling problem, which continues to be a problem.
UH needs better players.

You can get the worst guys on the team to form tackle properly……it’s coaching.

I have given CDH every benefit of the doubt. I have overlooked the inconsistent play, because at times we looked like we were improving. Last night was the worst performance I have seen at U of H. I go back to the Dimel era. I’m simply done.
I will buy tickets for next year, because thats what I do, but as long as CDH is here I know it’s just going to be more of the same. CDH has lost the team as well as the fan base now.
It’s time for the University leadership to step up, make the hard call, and send us in a new direction, because the path we are on is taking us nowhere.
Until then I will support the volleyball team under David Rehr. If you have not seen the girls play you are missing something special, and Sampson and the basketball team.

I quit watching at halftime - ive had enough. Spoke to my dad this morning (also a UH alum) and he was just so sick of it we couldnt even talk about it.
our program is in ruins. our coaching staff is a joke and I have zero expectation of getting better anytime soon unless we have a complete coaching change.
do we even game plan for teams / different games? it seems as if we just go out there and run our offense and defense no matter who we play and if it works it work and if it doesn’t it doesnt.
just real, real bad football. sad.

Dana himself said it was just “embarrassing.” I don’t want to hear that from a coach in his fifth year with the program. That’s not the first time he’s said it either. He has a defeatist attitude and just doesn’t give a f@#k.

You just have to speak “Dana” to read between the lines.
His “we were locked in Thursday and Friday” translates to “I took Monday through Wednesday off because I earned it by beating Baylor.”
The game played out exactly as I thought it would. We were completely unprepared for Cincy and had zero emotion. Dana is now 0-4 vs Cincinnati and last night was one of our better losses in the series.
That said, Dana seems to care about OSU. He’s had history going back to UH, Tech and WVU days. He’s feeling a little heat. I fully expect us to compete next week. We might not win but we will see effort and at least some sort of scheme.

Bingo. After beating Baylor I was pretty sure Dana would take the week off and lose a winnable game. OSU is beatable and we will likely beat them. Then the following week deliver another terd at UCF.

I thought the D was playing hard but please. Bobby Boucher could carry 15 times and make in through our LB’s 13 times untouched.
