A friend of mine once told me that during a sit down with CBY, was told by CBY that he could take kids that had never played a down of organized football by the age of 18 and TEACH them how to play the game. It’s all about coaching . . . . .

Absolutely…the best coaches are teachers, before anything else…and the best ones drill things into you until it is second nature…We need to find a BY type personality to coach us… I know, easier said than done…

It was a contest for most inept team. That Cincinnati interception that fumbled had me laughing. Same as our fair catch around our 5 yard line.

Go ahead and buy season tickets for 2024. If CDH returns enjoy sitting in an empty stadium with brutal heat or bone chilling cold. And just enjoy!

A couple of stats regarding our schedule….
The team scoring first has won 80% of the time.
The team leading at halftime has won 100% of the time.
With Cincinnati, we won the coin toss and deferred. We deferred because of our great defense…Cincinnati marched down the field and scored.

Deferring is the height of stupidity when you have no defense
Isn’t deferring standard procedure? I’d guess about 80% of the time teams defer.

I agree, its common practice. But, when our defense is so bad, seems illogical. Think of all the games we went into an early hole because of it. It’s like Dana knows our offense is just as pathetic as our defense so it’s a 50/50 call.
Probably thought Cincy’s O was so inept it would give the defense some confidence.

We had a DB with 13 tackles. I’ve heard of bend but don’t break but that is ridiculous.

That was UC’s first opening drive TD in 8 weeks. We also gave up their longest TD drive of the season.
And yet the D was 100% better than our offense.
