He was right. In the Coaches Poll, we went from 5 votes to 1 vote (week 5 to week 6)
AP Poll for week 6 hasn’t been released yet (should be any moment now)

The AP Poll does not come out until 2PM. We had 5 votes in the coaches poll a week ago and now we have 1 in the latest coaches poll.
We went backwards according to the coaches after narrowly escaping with a W in Corvallis, so Pollard is correct. We went from 5 to 1 vote.

I guess I misinterpreted his post, my bad
So most likely only the Texas Tech coach voted for UH this week. I get it.
It should come as no big surprise that the 4 college teams with major NIL $$$ supported by donors’ funds coming from the oil fields of Texas & Oklahoma are among the top ranked teams in the nation. There’s #4 ATM, #7 Texas, #8 OU and then #14 TT.
[NOTE: I think we can expect to see TT rise into the Top 10 pretty soon as well.]

ut, somehow remain in the top 10. I would rank Alabama ahead of them. ISU ahead of The Vols. Interesting. But wow, Ole Miss catapults into #4. Party time in Oxford!

Disappointing we didn’t receive any votes. I was sure we would. Well, if we beat tt, then surely we’ll be ranked. 23-25.
