The big two bias is on fleek.
Florida State dominated Bama. Game wasn’t as close as the 14 point final margin. But Bama is now well ahead in the polls.
Penn State still hasn’t played a road game. The Lions are 0-1 vs P3. Best win is… FIU? But there they sit at #7.

One vote seems appropriate considering the Coogs soft schedule and barely winning over a winless, hapless OSU team.

These polls are SCAMS they are a precursor to the ultimate SCAM that is the cfp ranking. pennentatiary state has not beaten anybody. teetech at 11 is proof that these polls are indeed SCAMS.

When I think of the ap and coaches polls another thought comes to mind:
Seems like every year there are 2-3 teams that look unstoppable. This season I don’t see anyone that sticks out as way above everyone else.
Not sure if this will be the new norm with NIL/Portal.

Another overrated bloodbath? Undoubtedly, yes.
LSU becomes highly ranked after beating the Clemson Paper Tigers who prove to be a fraud. Now Ole Miss beats LSU and faults high into the top 10. Alabama had all kinds of issues early but jumps up several spots for beating a Georgia team that hasn’t looked particularly good.
Honestly, who is the best team in the SEC right now? I tend to think if Arch would perform to even 60% of expectations it’s Texas. But notice how BOTH Texas and OU, are getting credit and recognition for performing similar to they had in the Big 12? Only the SEC gets such an undeserved benefit of the doubt.

If LSU can get its offense together, I would be inclined to say they are the best. I agree with you on Arch.
these polls mean diddly squat. I just ask the magic 8 ball if we would win the national championship and the answer is “You can rely on it”
