Can y’all negative nancies shut the hell up now?

See Leak/Tebow, Ewers/Manning, Glennon/Taylor, Jones/Barrett, etc for reference. This has literally been done before.

If you want a UH example, this was the original plan for Piland/O’Korn before Piland got injured.

Sounds like Weigman is willing to compete.

Shows he has confidence in himself.

Go Coogs.

Wow… Fritz just the old school coach we need. Get on board Coogfans, the players certainly are

So he doesn’t think like you

In what sense?

You were the main one claiming he was going to transfer.

You have been saying he would leave to not jeopardize his draft prospects. You have been telling everyone what he thinks when you clearly had no clue

I claimed he was going to transfer?

I never claimed he was going to transfer.

I said that it would be in his interest to transfer if he wants to join a program without a competition.

I’m glad he staying another year. It’s only going to benefit UH football having 2 quarterbacks compete for QB1

If he doesn’t win the QB competition then it would impact his draft prospects

If he wants to compete in his final year, then hats off to Weigman for believing in himself

It’s a risk, because it’s his offense to lose. Upside is for UH.

So now tell us what Henderson is thinking. Because as you have stated so many times, we’re not a blue blood so no way he picked us to sit.
Can you admit, your conclusions about Weigman and Henderson were completely off and Ftitz is running the team is ways you couldn’t fathom

Fritz told you that Henderson is going to sit?

Weigman just said so.
Sorry you can’t own your own truth but all of Coogfans saw it

Henderson was coming here regardless. lol.

Even if he doesn’t start this year. He’ll start for 2 years and then head to the NFL. Keisean loves Fritz, Bell, the city. But most importantly he loves Michael Bishop. Who is now on staff.

You didn’t answer my question.

Did Coach Fritz tell you that Henderson is redshirting?

I never said he was redshirting. What is clear is that with Weigman staying, he’ll be QB1.

Then what’s your point?

I never said I claimed Weigman was leaving. That doesn’t change my mind about it being a risk for his future

We haven’t heard Fritz announce Keisean redshirting

Again, it’s Weigman’s offense to lose.

If they both compete for QB1 and Keisean wins the battle, then that’s a wrap for Weigman unless Keisean gets hurts

Keisean can pass, he can run, he’s taller, and can do pretty much everything Weigman can do. Does Weigman have experience? Sure, but level of play we saw from Weigman isn’t enough to guarantee a starting position. If it was, then the conversation wouldn’t be Weigman staying or transferring, instead it would be what selection is he in the first round.

I don’t know why its hard to admit what you have been telling everyone for the last month is completely wrong

Why have I been telling everyone?

Houston has a veteran senior QB who has a 22-7 record as a starter in college. YES, Henderson is going to sit. He is an 18 year old kid who is a great player, but still needs to learn and experience so many things about big time college football. I am sure he will get a lot of playing time and experience this first year as a back up. Nothing more valuable than experience for a player.

I’m not one to think that anyone has a guaranteed spot (and I’m sure Fritz doesn’t either, what decent coach would?) but, this is a ridiculously bad take. In great part it’s thanks to Weigman we have 9 wins. His performance this year gets as close as anyone could to guarantee he’s QB1 next year.
