What Texas Tech's Loss Means to the B12

No idea. I look at it as two dates. When the B12 receives the Conference share of the CFP money and when the individual schools receive their share. Whenever UH receives payment, it should appear in UH’s FY2026 Financial Statement.

If they had Sorsby they would have likely won.
QB play has been their weakness.

This loss really stings. It will haunt us even after the Coogs win the championship next year.

Hell or ‘everlasting damnation’ is not the everlastingness of time going on forever, but of the unbroken circle, the continuity and frustration of going round and round in pursuit of something which can never be attained.

In other words, stop worrying about Texas Tech’s lackluster performance and the Big 12’s position in college football.

It’s not the loss itself.

It’s the fact that they were shut out and didn’t even put up a fight.

I’d be okay with a loss vs. Oregon if it was at maximum a 7 point difference

Agree, though my post was sarcasm… we win it all, nobody even knows who tumbleweed tech is.

The media loved to see TT lose. I don’t know if media and announcers ever notice their bias. But watching Ohio St. game, every play that OSU had the ball their voices would rise as if this was going to be a big play. Then the media trailer on New Years day was all OSU, like they expected them to win and try to repeat. The media got the teams they wanted except for Miami.

I was watching ESPN’s Get Up program this morning. This best thing that happened to Texas Tech over the past 24 hours is the Indiana vs Alabama and Mississippi vs Georgia games. Get Up is a two hour program and you know how many segments they devoted to the Oregon vs Texas Tech game? Zilch. None. Didn’t even break it down.

Good luck getting media coverage when all the national media wants to talk about is B1G and SEC.

This is more of an indictment of the playoff structure. So far, Indiana is the only team with a bye to advance in the past two years. TT played a step slower than Oregon the whole game, especially the QB and offense.

It is still the Golden Rule

TECH was slower

Dumbest, whiniest post today…We will make more money and have 2 auto qualifiers in the new playoff contact the P4 will bring in with 16 teams. So Tech got their ass beat? Its what they have been doing in big end of year games for 70 years! We need a champ who will represent the league in proper fashion, like BYU or Houston…CMON!!!
