Someone said Conner could overtake Case as the best QB of the 21st century. It sounded crazy at first, but it can be true. Dude is just balling out and can lead us to the biggest postseason we’ve ever seen.

If Weigman leads UH to the conference championship and wins the conference championship game, it is no question he is the best. Strength of competition matters.
Keenum’s records are, in part, longevity records, playing 6 years. Keenum will always be remembered in the top tier of UH QBs, no matter what time.
Keenum will never lose his place in Cougar lore, same for Ware.
Weigman can do things those two didn’t, though through no fault of their own.
Man, I want that 2-pt conversion against Tech back!!! With a win there, definitely Top Ten sniffing at Top Five, with Top Ten Utah on deck. 
Still plenty of football left in the real world anyway.!

If He continues to rep UH like Case after He is gone maybe then. That is what I love about Tank Dell continues to rep UH, just like a lot of the Basketball players.

Since ive followed UH football. Weigman is a difference maker, he makes passes others wouldnt dare during 4th down. That to me is not only important it means you have the confidence to do it. Case is case. He bleeds UH, if weigman wins us a championship ill put him tied.

I can’t put him in front of Ward yet. A conference championship or major bowl win will do it though.
If he does both, he’s on top of Case as top QB this century imo. Not as my favorite or greatest Coog though, not sure anyone will top Case on that list.

No shot he passes Case, only way is if he wins us the natty. Getting us to the CFP would put him ahead of Ward but Keenum’s body of work is just way too huge to overtake. I love Weigman but as of now he really only has 2-3 legit wins on his resume and LSU’s B-Squad is not one of them. Now get a win this Saturday and maybe I start thinking crazy….

I love Keenum but which of his wins would be better than Conner’s? Tech? If Weigman wins a conference title, that would surpass Keenum, wouldn’t it?
but…Conner was a highly rated recruit while Case was not…I would say those things even out…

This thread is dismissing the incredible play of Greg Ward Jr… He had an uncanny ability to just keep drives going, doing whatever it took with this arm or legs.
His lowest, in four years of play, season completion percentage was 65%. His lowest. That is crazy good.
He led UH to its best season this century and UH’s biggest bowl win since the 1970s.
He also led UH to its 2nd conference championship this century.
Keenum stays on top for the stats which are mind boggling. Which is kind of unfair to Ward given the type of offense Keenum was running vs Ward. But I’ll leave it.

…and Mr. Ward played injured. judasherman knew what he was doing playing an injured Mr. Ward. Even playing injured Mr. Ward was dynamite. It got judasherman the uta job. We all know how it worked out for him. Mr. Ward played inured, entered the nfl combine injured and we know the rest.
Andre Ware and David Klingler are above Case because of the competition that they played. The SWC was a power conference. Some of you seem to forget it.
Andre winning the Heisman and David (was robbed of one) were playing at the highest level while on probation. Case is third and Conner is getting closer and closer while playing in a power conference. His body of work so far is worthy of the Heisman. There is no discussion about it. Only “blind writers” can ignore him. I am starting to see a deja vu when Andre won it. Conner has been unreal so far.

Unless he wins a Heisman he’ll never be #1. That trophy matters, even if you weren’t around to see it happen. I’ll argue with anyone that Keenum lifts that trophy instead of RG had we been in the Big 12. You can put Klingler 2 or 3. Weigman needs to start getting some Heisman love, if we keep winning they won’t be able to ignore him.
