I’m embarrassed for our University and the players deserve better. Could this be the reason that CKS leaves? Our fan support is awful

6pm game on a Tuesday. I couldn’t make it. I think my ticket was used. I know two people in my group had extras but by the time they realized they couldn’t make it, I was too busy to see the text so couldn’t push the tickets elsewhere.
But yea 6pm weeknight games when not a holiday are tough. Especially if you need to get across town.

Traffic was horrible. It’s tough to make it for a weekday 6 pm tip. It filled decently though.

Who is the idiot that planned this game at 6pm? This game should have been played at 7:30 or 8pm. Shame on the schedulers. You want to sell the BIG12? Act like it.

its on 6 that time for tv/espn. weekday games are at 6 or 8 for tv, not filling it up at 6 shouldnt be a problem for a top 10 team on a campus on 35k. i give ticketed seat holders a break on traffic but students should be full.

Even though Columbus has a decent size population it is not Houston.

How does it make sense for espn to have an empty stadium? Do they like these optics? The answer would be no.
espn2 had no other games at that time.
the 8pm espn/espn2 games are tech-baylor and usf-charlotte. if espn was worried about the optics, they woulda put usf-charlotte at 6. my guess is espn was more worried about the eyeballs on tv and wanted the #5 coogs as leadoff on espn2, i probably would of done the same if i were espn programming.
