Friday for #2
Goodluck on shot #2 ! I’m hearing from some friends
that it’s not unusual to experience some mild to medium flu like symptoms for a day or so. From what I gather from reading, shot no 2 is same as
shot #1 , but the body reacts stronger to the second
dose of it.
Based on the weather I wasn’t planning on going anywhere
Yes the second shot can be nasty. But at my age and health status I am willing to take the chance.
my second shot scheduled for 2/25.
Just got #2. I feel invincible!
I am going for second shot Saturday February 13. Heard second shot can cause reactions. Doctor told me ibuprofen and or Tylenol should help relieve symptoms.
I plan on medicating with Glenfiddich
Just got my first dose of the Moderna vaccine at the Houston VA hospital. Have an appointment for #2 in one month.
Felt sore in the arm. Went to the gym. Did a standard cardio routine and my pulse ran about 20 beats higher than normal. Now experiencing aches and fatigue.
Got #1 (Pfizer) through Houston Methodist. Incredibly organized and efficient. Shot #2 on March 3. Some fatigue (sleeping more), but otherwise no effects from the first dose. They said I’ll be immune from Covid two weeks after the second shot, but I’ll still be a jerk, so I didn’t get the side effect I was looking for.
We get #2 on Thursday,Feb 18. Have no plans for Friday or the weekend so if we have side effects we’re home. Looking forward to a sense of relief and protection for wife and me, and reduced chance of infecting family and friends. A huge thanks to our great American medical science and the thousands of trial volunteers. Incredible speed of development with a high percentage of effectiveness. Thank you.
Received #2 (Pfizer) yesterday (Feb 13) @ 9:15 AM Memorial Herman The Woodlands. Woke up today @ 3:00 AM with head ache and ear aches. Somewhat painful. Three ibuprofen seemed to help then another bout about 45 minutes later. One more ibuprofen and slept until 8:30. Everything seems OK except sore arm where they stuck me.
I’m scheduled for Thursday as well. Better stay on top of it as I think the whole schedule this week will be helter skelter.
Got my first dose Feb. 4 thru the City of Pearland, and was recently advised that the 2nd dose is scheduled Mar. 4 & 5.
We got our 2nd dose yesterday. Actually more side effects with first dose, but nothing significant with either dose
My only side effect from Moderna #1 was a sore shoulder.
TBD on Moderna #2. We’ll find out in March!
Hopefully I’ll hear from the city tomorrow in regards to my second shot, which is supposed to be tomorrow. Looks like there is at least a week window for the second vac. Much rather that than having to start the process over at a later date.
I will get it for sure when they call me.
