As part of the multiyear extension, Holgorsen will receive a $100,000 increase in base salary each year. He will earn $4.4 million in 2024, $4.5 million in 2025, $4.6 million in 2026 and $4.7 million in 2027.
Nothing says this money is guaranteed.

This is why Pez needs a long look. Extending Dana at that price might just be the worst decision in the last 20 years for UH athletics. Dana will end up being more detrimental than Applewhite and Levine combined. One good season and he was like “drink buddies for life!”
It is one thing to lose. It is worse to be classless and cursing out fans on top of losing.

Dana is not getting fired, Hes going to fire someone at the end of the season but i would hope hes smart enough to hire someone good to save his job. Not on recommendation, or friendship or favor. On wins and points on the board.
We’re not getting rid of Belk. Hes going to have to prove next year hes worth it.

Dana is our coach next year. Our destiny’s are tied. Pez has made sure of that.
That means that this year will probably be the best season we will have until CDH is fired. At this rate, it will probably be for cause.
B12 will regret bringing in such a sorry program, and we will join the P5 the same way we left it. As the cellar dweller.

He also has the same winning percentage as Dana in the Big 12, lost his team, was a weekly embarrassment in press conferences, had some serious team issues even in good years. His whining in press conferences is worse than Dana. If you want a good laugh go listen to the ones after losses to Baylor or after the SMU game last year.
