Do they deliver to the Copperfield area?

They should open one in the CyFair area. This area is booming .

Think they have one close to Katy

30-40 minute drive from my house

I was always partial to Pinks. But I love me some Star.

I never saw the appeal of the far out suburbs. So far from everything.

What’s your definition of “everything”?

What if family is in the burbs? Your job? Also it’s cheaper. I loved living in town but wanted my kids to be closer to my parents so they could spend more time with them.

My Uncle used to own a CHI Style pizza place in Sugarland before the lease ended. Been seeking that since. Star Pizza definitely makes the cut, holy smokes it’s good.

I have never heard of them and there are none down in my neck of the woods, but I love what they are doing and I will certainly be supportive when I come in to H Town…

Located in the old Sheppard Plaza area. Not a bad late night place to enjoy some Pizza

Ballparks, restaurants, museums etc.

I lived in clear lake for a bit, just got old always driving to the city.

Pros and cons. I used to love the inner loop. I’m starting to grow weary of metro areas in general. Thinking of moving way out in the country. Making my city visits on the weekends.

Streaming makes you feel connected in ways you couldn’t twenty years ago. My season tickets go to use no matter if I go or not.

I want to move out there! Living in the city is cool just to avoid traffic for work.

Katy & Cypress are booming!

The burbs have restaurants and if I want to go to a game or a museum or anything else in town I get in my car and go.

What if I prefer being close to the water? That’s not in town. To each his own…

Before we got married my wife had an apartment near San Felipe and Kirby that we stayed at a lot on the weekends that was walkable to a lot of bars and restaurants. Kind of miss it sometimes.

I’ve lived in my house in Clear Lake, near Baybrook, about 18 years. It takes me like 20-25 minutes to UH, and maybe 30 downtown. I’m also about 30 minutes to the Galveston Strand, which gives us some different options for dining and such. I have 4 places within 15 minutes I can launch my kayak for fishing, or just paddling around. At home I have a huge yard with a nice covered patio and some bird feeders. Super domestic, but so peaceful.

By nature, I’ll drive wherever I want to go. I am a sales rep, so I’m all over Houston Monday-Friday anyway. I use that a lot to my advantage to shop for or eat what I can’t get near the house.

Point being, it’s not all that bad out here in the 'burbs. :sunglasses:

Good point about the water, or regarding having land. More accessible in the burbs.

Restaurants though I disagree, Houston is a great place to eat and the majority of the top spots are in the Heights, Midtown, Downtown, Galleria etc

So, unbiased Coogfan in you guys, is star pizza good? I’m thinking about trying it out.

It’s pretty good. Everyone in the inner loop has places they prefer. But Star pizza is Just a good consistent pie.
