I don’t know that I’m super excited, but I’m not outraged or disappointed either.
It’s always easier to recruit to a P4 school than to a Southland school, so I would NOT assume that an RPI of 90 will be the ceiling here as it was there.
And I’m not going to hold it against him if we suck in year one. We sucked in year one of Sampson and Fritz and turned out just fine from year two onward.
But by the end of year two, we had better see some improvement.
The guy is used to recruiting local talent, so I assume he’ll be able to do it here as well.
I didn’t say I was only here to get the last word. I’m here to discuss any number of things to come to mind; having the last word isn’t always the goal.
But yes, it would indeed be wise to let me have it at times.
That said, if anyone wants to pick a fight…I’m the last one that will passively allow any crap to come my way.
Like the coogman said earlier, you have a total lack of self awareness. Good luck in your quest to have the last word. Your observation that this is some type of fight should signal to all what you’re about.
And let the record reflect that one or more people here already sent little personal snipes my way…snipes which I did NOT direct at them or provoke.
Another guy tried to claim that I said something that I didn’t.
Those are the “first aggressors,” not I.
And no, I didn’t signal that this is some sort of fight @RobDob . A few people are apparently on here looking for a fight with me, otherwise, they wouldn’t either personally attack me without provocation, or claim I said something I didn’t.
All I’m saying is that…if anyone is looking for a fight, as in those cases, I won’t passively sit back and be attacked.
You’ll find that I can be quite pleasant when we simply debate the issues. It’d be wise to let me have the last word, because, to the extent that I disagree with something, I’m not afraid to say so and why. Giving me the last word will prevent any discussion from being unreasonably prolonged.
You did indeed say this is a fight and you will not sit passively. All you do is repeat yourself until people tire of your repetitiveness. You aren’t here for dialogue you’re here to win arguments that YOU start. One time stating your case should suffice but you never do that.
No I didn’t. I said it’s sometimes better to just let me have the last word because it might prevent a discussion from going on too long. I’ve noticed that that rarely happens though.
The very same people make the very same repetitive arguments against me, so it’s hardly surprising that I have to repeat myself. Are you saying that the people that respond to me or argue with me aren’t likewise saying the same sorts of things each time? Given that, it’s not surprising that my retorts are likewise similar.
It takes two to tango. So don’t try to stick all the blame on me.
I did say if someone is looking for a fight by either taking personal shots at me or claiming I said something that I didn’t, I won’t just sit there and take it on the chin.
If people keep arguing with me, it’s hardly a surprise if I respond.
Just like if I argue with you, or even express disagreement with you, it’d hardly be a surprise to me if you responded. That’s how debate and discussion work.
