SG Brian Thomas Jr from Walker, LA - Has offers from Tulane and A&M

http://verbalcommits.com/players/brian-thomas-jr

The Walker High duo helped their basketball team soar to new heights in March. Thomas, then a freshman, was the title-game MVP, and Cook was the leading scorer for the season as the Wildcats won the Class 5A title, the school’s first boys basketball title.

Combo Guard Jalen Blackmon from Marion, IN - Has an offer from Southern

Note: Has two older brothers: one played for Indiana and one plays for Indiana.

G Chianti Clay from Milwaukee, WI - This was his first offer

Note: Not much info on him other than he’s the son of the coach of the next offer down below (guessing a package deal)

5* PF Michael Foster from Milwaukee, WI - Has offers from A&M, Minnesota, Marquette, LSU, Arizona State, Bradley, UNLV, and San Diego State. At one point, he was committed to Arizona State, but decommitted.

ESPN has him as the 3rd best player overall in his class and he’s the top ranked PF.

5star soph keon edwards in an interview this morning,

good news: basically insinuates that if he had to commit today its houston or lsu, with a lean towards UH

bad news: he doesn’t have to commit for 2 years and he just announced he is transferring high schools to a basketball power in nevada…so maintaining the relationship with him will be a lot harder

Kelly Oubre did the same thing several years ago.

Big issue that these kids are considering UH…and they aren’t joking. And who the ### is our connection in Milwaukee?

Honestly another reason I’m very intrigued with LSU is their great fan support. When we went on a visit, they had open practice and for the fans to pack an arena for a practice was real cool. I could see myself playing there.

I hate prep schools in a way.

Like I mentioned in the football thread, we have zero chance at this kid for football, but I think basketball is his 1st love. I assume he can’t do both. He is an absolute STUD. First legitimate back to the basket center I’ve seen in a while. Pre-injury Greg Oden like.

PG Daeshun Ruffin out of Jackson, MS - Has offers from Auburn, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss

JAXSON ROBINSON ‏ @ Robinsonjaxx 14h14 hours ago
blessed and thankful to receive my first offer from Coach Sampson and the University of Houston!!

“My goal for the summer is definitely to pick up my first offer,” said Robinson. “It has always been a dream since I was little to be a college basketball player. In order to do that I am going to have to have a great summer and stay consistent.”

“One thing I am looking for in a college would be a system that is about the team and not about I,” said Robinson. “A team that runs an offense that I could thrive in.”

Just adding his HUDL (mod)
